The Elizabeth Township community is mourning the loss of Patrick “Pat” Kelly, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend whose life was defined by family, laughter, hard work and the many relationships he treasured.

Patrick Kelly, 60, of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, September 7, 2026. His death has left a profound void for those who knew and loved him.

Born on April 15, 1966, Pat was one of three children of James and Beverly (Powers) Kelly. He grew up in Pleasant Hills and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.

A Life Centered on Family

Family was at the heart of Pat Kelly’s life.

He shared 30 years of marriage with his wife, Tina (Antonella) Kelly. Together, they built a family that remained one of the most important parts of his life.

Pat is survived by his daughters, Jenna (Kevin) Trasp and Brooke Kelly, as well as his grandchildren Olivia and Delaney Kelly and Roman Trasp. He is also survived by his brothers, Steve (Patty) Kelly and Mike (Kim) Kelly, along with many nieces and nephews.

His family remembers a man who cherished the time he spent with those closest to him. Whether surrounded by relatives or friends, Pat understood the value of enjoying life’s moments and creating memories with the people he loved.

The loss is especially painful because Pat had already experienced the heartbreak of losing his son, Derek Kelly, who passed away in 2016.

Remembered for His Work and Dedication

Pat also leaves behind a professional legacy built through years of dedication.

He was a member of IBEW Local 5 and had worked as Project Manager for Precision Electrical Contractors. After a long career, he had only recently retired in April 2026.

Those who knew Pat professionally would have known him as someone who devoted himself to his work while still making room for the people and activities that brought him happiness.

A Man Who Loved the Outdoors and Simple Joys

Away from work, Pat enjoyed spending time on the golf course and at his camp, where he could often be found with his dogs by his side.

Those simple moments reflected the personality remembered by his loved ones: someone who appreciated being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and finding happiness in everyday experiences.

Pat was also known for his sense of humor. His obituary remembers that he always knew how to make people laugh and that he cherished every moment spent with family and friends.

That ability to bring laughter and warmth to those around him is likely to remain among the memories his family and friends hold closest.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home in Jefferson Hills. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, September 11, with the time to be announced.
